Specialties
Welcome to my therapy practice, where I specialize in providing compassionate support for a variety of challenges: Loss of Loved Ones, Chronic or Life-Limiting Illness, and Caregiver Support for individuals and families.
Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of serving in key roles across Westchester County, including as Coordinator of Bereavement Services at WJCS—the largest social service agency in the region—where I also led a community-based palliative care program. I am trained in Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy for cancer patients and caregivers through Memorial Sloan Kettering, and my work spans individual counseling, consultation, and facilitating loss and bereavement groups in various settings, including independent living communities. I have lectured widely on topics such as dementia caregiving, anticipatory grief, ambiguous loss and family dynamics, and have provided grief education and supervision to clinicians seeking to deepen their understanding of current bereavement theory and practice.
I embrace a strength-based perspective. I focus on transformation, healing and growth by offering coping skills, interpersonal and relational support, and guidance. Helping you find self-compassion is central to my approach.

Grief
Grief is a deeply personal journey, where each path is unique. It goes beyond mere sorrow, encompassing the complexities of remembrance, the challenges of moving forward, and the profound transformation grief brings to everyday life. If you are grappling with overwhelming emotions, seeking to find meaning amid loss, or simply need a compassionate space to mourn, I am here to provide attentive listening and supportive guidance.
Together, we will navigate this journey, honoring your individual experience and discovering pathways towards healing.

Caregiving
Caregiving is a profound experience marked by boundless love and dedication, yet it also presents emotional and logistical challenges that can be daunting to navigate alone. Whether you are seeking strategies to manage stress, support with navigating family dynamics, connection to resources or a safe space to process the array of emotions that caregiving brings, I am here to offer compassionate assistance.
Together, we can work on nurturing your well-being and equipping you with the resilience and tools needed to embrace this role confidently and with grace.

Illness
Receiving a diagnosis can feel like embarking on an unfamiliar journey, stirring a whirlwind of emotions such as fear, confusion, and an overwhelming sense of loss. Suddenly, you are faced with a complex medical reality that impacts every aspect of your daily life. Whether you are confronting Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, ALS or other challenging conditions, I am here to provide steadfast support. Together, we will explore ways to cope, draw upon inner strength, and cultivate resilience in the face of uncertainty, ensuring you are supported every step of the way.
Sessions & Fees
Fee per session is $250. Sessions are generally around 50 minutes. I offer a limited number of reduced-fee appointments and am happy to discuss options when possible.
Payment is due at the time of each session using a credit card or HSA/FSA card.
I am conducting therapy in person and via Telehealth using a HIPAA compliant video platform. If you have any questions about insurance coverage, please contact me.
To help you determine benefits, here are questions to ask your insurance provider:
-
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
-
Do I have a deductible? How much is it, and how much has been met?
-
What percentage of the therapy fee is covered?
-
How many sessions are covered per year?
